Agi Lurtz is the President and CEO of OnlineMedSource, LLC. She was born in Duluth, Minnesota and moved with her family to Norman, Oklahoma in 1964 at an early age. The sixth of seven children, Agi credits the high expectations of her parents for her success as an adult. She earned her degree in Interior Design and a minor in Business from the University of Oklahoma in 1979. While a student, she was instrumental in the move of the Interior Design curriculum to the school of Architecture, where it remains today.
Mrs. Lurtz started and operated six very different and successful businesses before launching OnlineMedsource. She entered the information technology market in 1982, founded Compute This!! in 1991 and Esotech Internet in 1999.
Agi conceived the basic protocols for an interactive medical records and history system during a decade of caring for her ailing father. She gave life to her ideas by starting OnlineMedsource.org in 1999. OnlineMedsource, LLC was incorporated in 2001.
Agi addressed the Health & Human Services Community in late 2005, in Washington DC, concerning the need to integrate medical information systems and make the maximum use of secured information technology. She has been in contact with various federal government agencies as well as the medical systems of several foreign countries.
In a volunteer capacity, Agi serves on the Advisory Committees for Moore-Norman Technology Center and Rose State College. She served as president for The Exchange Club in Norman for 5 consecutive years. She has been an active member of several different Chambers of Commerce. She is a long time active member of Kiwanis, having served in several capacities and holding several offices over the years. In 2007 she joined Toastmasters international, winning several speech contests in her first year of membership. She enjoys serving her local community, especially when it comes to working with children. Probably her favorite work comes from helping budding entrepreneurs realize their dreams.Agi Lurtz understands that medical health professionals must have accurate, up-to-date information to provide the standard of care they expect and the patient deserves. Her ability to utilize her business acumen to address the need for a simpler, more direct system of health and medical record maintenance is unique. More than anything, she brings a vision of what can be and the determination to make her vision a reality.
