Kim Johnson is the Project Manager for OU Physician’s industry leading effort to transform the medical delivery process. The Medical Home Project is incorporating the Joint Principles of the Medical Home into the core processes of the Tulsa OU Physician clinics. MedHome consists of nine integrated projects with over 70 core team members and approximately 150 extended stakeholders. Major components of this project are slated for implementation by the end of 2009. The MedHome Project has been praised for the commitment made to integrating formal Project Management, Business Requirements and Knowledge Management disciplines and for creating a learning organization within the team.
During her time with OU, Kim has managed numerous projects associated with the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system used by OUP. She has established a strong reputation for using proven, formal processes in her work. She is highly respected for her ability to integrate people from many levels of the medical field into a structured approach for project success.Prior to joining the OU staff, Kim worked as a Manager, Project Manager and/or Business Analysts for Williams Company, WilTel, the Broken Arrow Public Schools and as an independent consultant.
