             Featuring Lindsay Gowan who will speak on the KM initiatives taking place within Chesapeake Energy.

  

Lindsay currently serves as the Geoscience Data Librarian at Chesapeake Energy in Oklahoma City.  Prior to her current position, Lindsay was a Senior Geological Technician for seven years, both at Chesapeake and EOG Resources.  Time served as a GeoTech contributed to Lindsay’s love of geology, data, and organization which led to the pursuit of a graduate degree in Library and Information studies.   She received her undergraduate degree from Southwestern University at Georgetown, TX and her MLIS from the University of Oklahoma.  She is a member of SLA, KIPA, PPDM, and the Red Earth Desk and Derrick Club.


Meeting (excluding meal) is free for KIPA (and KIPA affiliate) members, $10 for those who aren't members.  Lunch can be purchased for $10 (due at time of meeting).  RSVP by October 30 to ensure that your lunch is ordered!
